Poultney River Watch Goals

The goal of the Poultney RiverWatch program is to introduce Poultney school students to the concepts behind water quality monitoring and the importance of scientifically accurate information in making informed management decisions.

What's New

Poultney RiverWatch, working in partnership with the RiverWatch Network and with support from Toyota, began macroinvertebrate monitoring in Fall, 1996. This component of monitoring is part of the Poultney High School science curriculum as is on-going chemical water quality monitoring.
