EXPERIENCE:
Ghostwriters Communications , Poultney, VT Natural Resource Account Manager - Project manager for non-profit and other natural resource accounts. Responsibilities include: Grant writing, funding development, meeting coordination, membership development, project development, develop educational signs and brochures, coordinate volunteers, panel speaker at the Northeast Fish and Wildlife Conference, project and event photography, and office I.T. management. October 2000 - Present FERMATA Inc. , Poultney, VT Wildlife Biologist - Completed site assessments throughout the northeast to develop nature tourism plans as well as oversaw infrastructure improvements for clients. Responsibilities include: Attend public meetings to discuss projects and to gather recommendations from community leaders, assess the natural resource values of sites using Fermata's ASAP Protocol, recommend infrastructure improvements and interpretive products and work with state agencies and local contractors to complete site enhancements. July 2004 - PresentVermont Department of Fish and Wildlife , Pittsford, VT Seasonal Fish and Wildlife Technician - Performed winter, and summer creel surveys on Lake Champlain, and Chittenden Reservoir, assisted with trout, bass, and walleye population inventories and assessments, worked on a lake sturgeon population assessment, assisted in the collection of wild turkey harvest data, and performed various other tasks for district biologists.
